• Competitive Salary starting from $149,131 + 14.75 % Super (10 day fortnight)

The opportunity:
As a Training Coordinator, you’ll provide the end-to-end training coordination across all training activities in the business. You’ll also be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing accurate and timely advice in relations to Training Needs Analysis at the group level. As a natural self-starter, you will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and thrive in a fast paced environment. Please note this is a 12 month contract.
You will also:
- Coordinate approved individual, team and group-based training activities from initial request through to the capture and reporting of completion outcomes; ensuring a proactive service approach and engagement with stakeholders throughout the process. This includes, planning and scheduling of courses, logistical support for on-site and external training, reporting and analysis, and systems and records management, liaison with external training providers, as well as financial administration and monitoring activities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annual organisational training calendar and play a lead role in the coordination of significant events such as Compliance Week as delegated
- Provide day-to-day TNA advice and guidance at the team level and to Maintenance Service Providers (MSPs) and to contractors. This includes, the coordination of technical and compliance training as well as qualifications/skills audits, and the analysis, scheduling and recording of training activities against ATPs
- Provide advice, particularly to technical teams, on the allocation and scheduling of work activities and on-the-job experiences required to meet ATP requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training requirements data and records in the LMS (or systems designated by Powerlink); ensuring compliance with Powerlink's records management processes so that accurate records can be retrieved and reported to meet business and compliance requirements
- Deliver accurate regular and ad hoc organisational and stakeholder reporting and auditing to support decision-making, prioritisation and compliance assurance. This includes, verification and scheduling requirements for the skills and authorisations necessary to meet regulatory, legal and operational requirements
- Provide day-to-day user assistance to employees, MSPs and contractors using the Learning Management System, including initial set ups, course enrolments and password resets
- Actively contribute to the development of a collaborative and service-focussed team culture and stakeholder engagement framework that drives consistency, clarity and a seamless approach to training and the management of related risk across the organisation

Based in Brisbane, you will join the People and Culture division, specifically the organisational training team. This team is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and service-focused culture, ensuring effective training and development across the organisation
What you'll bring:
The suitable candidate will possess strong planning, organisational, and coordination skills, with demonstrated experience in managing training activities and using learning management systems. They will also have a high level of attention to detail, a proactive customer service approach, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications:
• Diploma of Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Certificate IV Training & Assessment
