The opportunity:

 


Powerlink is seeking a skilled individual to provide property administrative support for the delivery of land access and the acquisition of land rights (easements) for both Regulated and Non-Regulated projects. This role will involve managing approvals, tenure acquisition, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with relevant legislation.

 

Additionally, the role requires oversight of Native Title Rights evaluation, ensuring compliance with current legislation and procedures. You will assist in drafting negotiation and payment documents that support the Native Title strategy, including engaging with First Nations peoples.

 

Managing payments associated with land rights is a key responsibility, ensuring compliance with Powerlink’s legal obligations, including compensation and option payments. The role also demands a commitment to strict governance, maintaining robust document management systems in line with record-keeping policies and frameworks.

Based in Virginia, you will join a high performing team that proactively engages with landholders, developers and other key community stakeholders to ensure we can continue to safely and reliably operate and maintain our network. You will help provide advice as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. 

What you'll bring:

 


•    Relevant Certificate IV qualification in property or project management; or, significant experience in tenure, acquisition and rights in land matters, for a large scale infrastructure projects.
•    Relevant property paralegal training a Certificate IV qualification in property or project management is desirable
•    Proven ability to work within a fast-paced project delivery environment to critical timelines and constraints.
•    Demonstrated experience in preparing correspondence, reports, and documents with high accuracy and clarity.
•    Demonstrated experience in maintaining data in a stakeholder management system
