The opportunity:
As the Team Leader for Administration and Travel Management, you will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of core administration services to the Finance and Governance division. You will also drive continual enhancement of processes, systems, and capabilities within the team. Additionally, you will lead the development and management of the enterprise Travel Management Contract and related procurement activities.
Further to this, you will;
- Lead a professional, high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional administration and PA support services, while driving performance to achieve business objectives
- Develop and manage procurement and service contracts related to corporate travel
- Plan for future travel-related procurement/contracts requirements
- Develop, maintain, and report on compliance and KPIs for travel-related contract management and vendor performance
- Assist in coordinating activities associated with the Company Secretary and Board and Committees meetings
- Ensure service continuity by documenting, reviewing and maintaining work procedures, systems, and processes
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through process re-engineering and automation
The people you'll join:
Reporting directly to the General Manager Governance, you will be leading an experienced team of administrators to provide support to the Finance & Governance division. The Finance and Governance division is dedicated to building a strong focus on finance, cost management, risk, and governance, while also managing Board and Government Owned Corporation (GOC) matters. This division's highly strategic focus is critical for Powerlink's performance and supports a shift towards a more commercially focused corporate approach.
What you'll bring:
- Diploma in administration, business, contract management, or a lesser qualification with significant experience
You will bring extensive administration experience, complemented with previous experience in leading high-performing teams. Additionally, your expertise in contract management will enable you to effectively oversee commercial contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors and other external stakeholders. Experience in corporate travel management is highly desirable.
Exceptional relationship-building skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for this role. You should possess a high-level ability to process, analyse, and interpret data for business reporting. Experience in managing diverse stakeholders and collaborating with other leadership teams is also required. Finally, you should demonstrate a proven ability to develop, monitor, and manage team performance effectively.
