The opportunity:
In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of Health & Safety (H&S) and Environment & Sustainability (E&S) performance monitoring, reporting, and analytics. Your work will help ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement across the business.
You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving H&S and E&S data systems, ensuring they remain agile, fit for purpose, and aligned with changing organisational priorities. This includes monitoring and implementing technical updates to support system effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support in line with the HSE Management System and corporate frameworks, including planning, coordination, data processing, and the development of assurance templates based on existing documentation and legislative requirements.
- Contribute to the delivery of Powerlink’s H&S and E&S performance reporting program, responding to internal and external business needs. This includes developing reporting processes, extracting relevant data, and conducting data verification activities.
- Contribute to the on-going development of H&S and E&S Data Analytics by managing datasets, identifying trends, and producing insights that support key learnings, decision-making, and improvement initiatives.
- Support data quality by promoting data integrity, educating stakeholders and data providers, and driving continuous improvement in data management practices.

This Brisbane-based role sits within our Health & Safety Governance and Performance Team, part of the Corporate Services Division. You’ll be joining a passionate group committed to driving governance excellence and performance outcomes that underpin the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of services to our customers.
What you'll bring:
You’ll bring proven experience in delivering Health & Safety (H&S) and/or Environment & Sustainability (E&S) performance reporting, data management, and analytics. Your ability to lead projects and drive efficiencies across systems and processes will be highly valued. With a creative mindset and a passion for innovation, you thrive on developing smart solutions that drive impactful outcomes for our customers.
Naturally, you will demonstrate:
- Degree level qualifications incorporating data analytics, and/or mathematics and/or database management (Business, Health, Safety and Environment) coupled with relevant experience
- Advanced qualifications in Microsoft Office Suite, Database Management
You will demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools, with hands-on experience administering Health & Safety and Environment & Sustainability software platforms such as Cintellate or SAP.
You will bring a proven track record in conducting H&S and/or E&S assurance activities, with a keen focus on maintaining data integrity and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.
