The opportunity:
Powerlink is seeking two experienced Project Managers to join our People and Culture team on 24-month max-term contracts. These roles offer a rare opportunity to lead strategic workplace uplift initiatives that will shape how our people work, collaborate, and thrive across a complex and evolving organisation.
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-impact projects that integrate people, technology, and space to drive measurable business outcomes. You will work client-side across commercial and industrial projects such as the design and construction of a new office building and demolition of an existing warehouse.
Both workstreams will require stakeholder management, scope definition, procurement management, design consultancy management and potentially overseeing a principal contractor through to completion.
You will influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leaders, consultants, and contractors, while managing initiatives from scope to delivery with a strong focus on time, cost, quality, and change. You’ll be part of a team that thrives on agility, collaboration, and purpose, within a culture that values integrity, continuous learning, and commercial thinking.
These roles are ideal for professionals with a strong background in workplace transformation and a passion for delivering outcomes aligned with strategic business goals. If you’re ready to lead meaningful change and help shape the future of work at Powerlink, we’d love to hear from you.
The people you'll join:
You’ll join the People and Culture group within the People and Corporate Services division, working closely with a team focused on delivering strategic workplace transformation. Reporting to the Manager Commercial Property Portfolio, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals who value innovation, integrity, and practical outcomes in creating high-performing work environments.
What you'll bring:
You’ll bring a strong foundation in client-side project management, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in office and corporate accommodation management or alternatively a diverse range of retail, mixed use or hospitality with multiple end user stakeholders. Your ability to lead complex construction projects, manage change across large organisations, and engage diverse stakeholders will be key to delivering successful outcomes.
As well as:
- Degree-level qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
