The opportunity:
As a Project Controller, you will optimise project management performance and control by supporting Project Managers in key areas such as, cash flow monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and delivery process improvement.
In this role, you will be responsible for initiating project activities, interpreting and distributing project budgets, and managing the closure of activities and work breakdown structures in SAP PS Module and Project Server. You will ensure that all projects are delivered in alignment with Powerlink's project management methodology, processes, and tools, while also providing expert cost management advice and supporting Project Managers in optimising project delivery through key business tools such as SAP Project Systems, Project Server, and Tableau.
You will play a pivotal role in Earned Value Management, including reporting and analysis of Cost and Schedule Performance Index (CPI and SPI). Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, embedding learnings that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of project delivery.
The people you'll join:
Based in Virginia, you will work within the Delivery and Technical Solutions Division, within the reporting directly into the Team Leader Project Controls.
What you'll bring:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or something similar, along with solid experience in a project delivery environment. We’d love to see your expertise in SAP, Tableau, and other project management tools.
• Demonstrated experience and capability in supporting project planning, scheduling and dependency management.
• Demonstrated significant experience in planning and scheduling, cash flow monitoring and forecasting reporting
• Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management
• Demonstrated ability in analysing and monitoring project delivery performance and control.
• Demonstrated ability in producing timely, accurate project reporting.
