The opportunity:
As a Program Manager, you will drive the success of Powerlink projects by navigating synergies, overcoming constraints, and delivering optimal solutions to ensure efficiency and smooth operations.
You will also:
- Develop and maintain a high-level program of projects to assess the impact on resources, network outages, and customer deliverables.
- Influence key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective resolution of project challenges and promote the delivery of outstanding results.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, and ensure cross-program coordination by liaising with other Program Managers.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for all project work, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in resource utilisation.
- Monitor the progress of projects, supporting project managers in the successful delivery of all initiatives to Powerlink standards.
The people you'll join:
Based at our Virginia office, you’ll join our Infrastructure Delivery team within our Delivery and Technical Solutions division. With a focus on cross-functional coordination, our team thrives on open communication, mutual support, and a shared commitment to achieving exceptional outcomes. You'll be working alongside professionals in project management, engineering, operations, and technical solutions, all of whom are dedicated to ensuring the success of Powerlink's projects and contributing to the future of Queensland’s energy infrastructure.
What you'll bring:

A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline, OR a lower-level qualification paired with significant project delivery experience.

Proven experience managing multiple complex projects to deliver optimal outcomes, balancing cost, risk, and efficiency.

Expertise in planning and scheduling projects, including managing interdependencies and resource availability

A strong continuous improvement mindset and the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.

Sound knowledge of contractor capabilities, commercial contracting, and contracting instruments such as bundling
