The opportunity:
As a Revenue and Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the collection of revenue necessary for day-to-day business operations. You will prepare monthly invoices, contribute to setting annual prescribed prices and assist in providing the analysis to justify positions for Powerlink in relation to external reviews and consultations.
Additionally, you will;
• Assist in preparing supporting information for customer management activities related to pricing and billing
• Monitor, analyse, and report on grid revenues for budgeting, financial, and regulatory purposes
• Identify and improve systems and data that support pricing and billing functions
• Support the regulatory revenue determination process, focusing on revenue allocation and pricing methodology
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent service delivery.
The people you'll join:
Based in Brisbane, you will join our Pricing and Billing team within the Energy Futures division, reporting directly to the Manager.
What you'll bring:
• Degree level qualifications in Finance /Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology or other area relevant to regulation coupled with applied experience.
• Experienced in the use of Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to review and conduct detailed analysis of complex issues.
• Experience in the development and application of data, economic, pricing and/or financial modelling
