- Competitive Salary starting from $194,000 + 14.75% super (10-day fortnight)

The opportunity:
In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Powerlink’s policies and industry best practices. You will design, review, and test network device configurations using proprietary tools and design templates. Key deliverables include creating estimates, detailed designs, device configurations, and handover materials, all while maintaining adherence to Powerlink’s defined processes. You will also play a critical role in investigating and recommending business and technical solutions to address challenges in the substation environment.
Additionally, you will manage external design partners, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet scope, quality, and timeframe expectations. Your expertise will also be called upon to provide technical support, contribute to design training, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

What you'll bring:
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in IT or Engineering, or an equivalent qualification with significant experience in a similar role. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is essential, with additional certifications in MPLS Segment Routing, VoIP, Cybersecurity, and other related fields being highly desirable.
You should have proven experience in designing, testing, and implementing system architectures, as well as expertise in network routing, switching, and security.
