The opportunity:

 

As the Manager – Business Advisory Solutions & Support, you’ll play a key leadership role in our Delivery and Technical Solutions (DTS) Division, responsible for driving business improvement initiatives, overseeing our ISO9001:2015 Quality Management certification, and delivering strategic projects that influence both divisional and organisation-wide outcomes.


You’ll lead a team of skilled professionals to develop and deliver high-impact improvement projects that align with Powerlink’s operational and strategic priorities. These initiatives will focus on improving performance, mitigating risk, and ensuring the business is prepared to respond to internal and external change. You’ll also manage a team of administration professionals to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the DTS division.


A critical part of your role will be ensuring the ongoing compliance and continuous improvement of our business management framework, including ownership of internal audits, assurance activities, and continuous improvement system. Your leadership will help maintain our ISO9001:2015 certification and embed quality management principles across the division.


You’ll engage collaboratively with Powerlink’s senior leadership team, internal stakeholders, and key external partners to ensure improvement activities are well-integrated and reflective of the full project lifecycle. You’ll also play a strategic role in translating organisational objectives into actionable plans, developing business strategy, and coaching others to build capability across the business.

What you'll bring:

 

  • Relevant degree qualifications in business or allied discipline OR a lesser qualification coupled with extensive experience with business management and process improvements.
  • Qualifications or experience in Quality Management and/or as a Lead Auditor.
  • Proven experience leading complex, high-impact improvement projects in a large, multifaceted organisation.
  • Strong understanding of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and demonstrated ability to maintain compliance and drive system improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and lead business strategy planning, benefit realisation, and strategic project portfolios.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work confidently with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • A track record of translating strategic intent into actionable outcomes that enhance organisational capability and performance.
