The opportunity:

 

In this role, you will support Maintenance Specialists with SAP asset management data tasks, enabling proactive and routine maintenance across the state in line with Powerlink’s strategies and stakeholder requirements.

 

You will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of SAP maintenance plans for various asset types, including substations, transmission lines, secondary systems, communication, revenue metering, and easements.

 

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately create and maintain asset maintenance plans in SAP and stage them for safe and efficient completion, considering resource and outage requirements, location, and customer agreements.


You will provide reports to audit work orders and maintenance plans, ensuring correct application and assignment of work units. Additionally, you will create SAP notifications work orders and measuring documents to support the timely delivery of fieldwork.  


Your expertise will also be essential in supporting the efficient use of the SAP Plant Maintenance Module and associated tools, managing large data uploads, and producing SAP outputs for annual budget reviews.
 

The people you'll join:

 

Based in Brisbane, you will become a part of our Asset Integrity and Performance Solutions Team within the Operations & Services Delivery Division. This team is dedicated to driving innovative solutions for our asset management and maintenance, ensuring that we deliver reliable and efficient services to our stakeholders.

What you'll bring:

 

You will bring strong stakeholder management experience and have a passion for continuous learning and adapting to new ways of working. Your ability to think outside the box and contribute to innovative solutions, while maintaining a commercial mindset, will be highly valued.

 

Naturally, you will demonstrate:

 

•    Grade 12 qualification with significant experience in Information Management, Asset Management, Database Management, or a related discipline.

•    Knowledge of maintenance management, planning and scheduling activities in compliance with standards and policies.

•    Demonstrated experience with SAP Plant Maintenance module or similar maintenance management systems.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of electronic data.
