The opportunity:
As a Design Delivery Coordinator at Powerlink, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of design activities across a range of transmission network projects. Working closely with Design Managers, Portfolio Managers and the broader Design Solutions Team, you’ll help ensure design requirements are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered in line with Powerlink’s standards and project objectives. This role offers a great opportunity to apply and expand your skills in design coordination, stakeholder engagement, documentation management and systems administration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the interface between multiple design disciplines, internal stakeholders, external contractors, and customers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the design lifecycle. From managing design documentation—such as drawing registers, transmittals and handover packages—to assisting with project scheduling and cost tracking, you’ll play a vital role in driving efficiency and quality across our delivery pipeline. You’ll also support Safety in Design activities and assist with contractor performance tracking and design portfolio resourcing. On smaller, single-discipline projects, you may take on more hands-on coordination responsibilities, offering the chance to broaden your capabilities and take ownership of key tasks.

You’ll be joining Powerlink’s high-performing Design Solutions Team, a collaborative group of professionals who are passionate about delivering safe, efficient, and innovative design outcomes. The team works across multiple disciplines and projects, providing critical support to Queensland’s transmission network. With a strong culture of teamwork, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, you'll be supported by experienced Design Managers, Portfolio Managers, and technical specialists who are committed to mentoring and growing talent
What you'll bring:
- A Diploma (or higher) in Project Management, Business Administration or similar.
- Strong attention to detail with a logical, analytical and task-driven approach.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
- Experience using scheduling and documentation tools such as SAP, Microsoft Project, SmartPlant Foundation, and standard office software.
