- Competitive Salary offering $216,403 + 14.75% super (10-day fortnight)
- Available to you is the option to work a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week

The opportunity:
As the Business & Asset Optimisation Team Leader, you will lead a team of skilled professionals dedicated to enhancing the performance and reliability of Powerlink’s transmission assets. Your expertise in asset management and advanced analytics will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and innovation within our operations.
Further to this you will;
- Oversee initiatives to enhance asset performance and lifespan, applying advanced asset management techniques to drive efficiency and mitigate risks
- Be at the forefront of innovation by implementing new technologies and improving data analytics for better asset reliability and resilience
- Promote continuous improvement through proactive monitoring, data analytics, and optimisation strategies
- Lead the adoption of digital technologies and data insights to predict and prevent asset failures, reduce downtime, and extend asset life
- Leverage your strong understanding of asset management to enable data-driven decision making, using tools such as SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, and Excel to analyse and manage data
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive success
The people you'll join:
Located in our Virginia office, you will be a key member of the Operational Engineering division, ensuring that we are able to provide cost-effective and reliable electricity to Queenslanders. This role works within a supportive team and reports directly to the Manager for Asset Integrity and Performance Solutions.
What you'll bring:
- Degree qualification in Business or Financial Management
Your exceptional leadership skills and business acumen make you an ideal candidate for this role. You bring valuable knowledge of asset management in an operational environment, ensuring alignment with relevant business, quality, and data standards. Crucially, you possess a deep understanding of asset management that enables data-driven decision-making, leveraging data insights to enhance financial performance and operational excellence. Proficiency in using tools such as SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, and Excel for data analysis and management is highly desirable.
You excel at managing and mitigating risks, monitoring progress, and achieving delivery outcomes. Your expertise in utilizing key people management processes to effectively manage team performance is essential. Additionally, you have the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving success.
