The opportunity:
As an Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer at Powerlink, you’ll play a vital role in managing end-to-end financial processes that keep our business running efficiently. This two-days-a-week, 12-month max-term opportunity offers rare exposure across both payables and receivables, allowing you to contribute meaningfully while maintaining work-life balance.
- You'll lead accurate invoice processing using 3-way matching and GL cost coding
- You'll manage creditor payment runs aligned with procurement policy
- You'll ensure timely banking and maintain financial records with integrity
- You'll contribute to month-end ledger reconciliations and reporting
- You'll step into higher-level support during key periods, ensuring service continuity

The people you'll join:
You’ll join a friendly and supportive team of six in the Accounts Payable and Receivable area, part of the Finance & Tax group within the Finance & Governance division. Led by the Team Leader Finance Operations, the team works collaboratively to ensure accurate and timely financial processing. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience in finance and is now looking for flexibility, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully while working part-time in a stable and well-structured environment.
What you'll bring:
You'll bring a qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience, along with a solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes in a commercial setting. You'll have experience using accounting systems, strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills, and a sound knowledge of double-entry accounting principles.
