  • Competitive Salary starting from $122,016 + 14.75% super (9-day fortnight)
  • You’ll actively contribute to reducing costs and improving logistics processes while supporting environmental initiatives like recycling and proper disposal — combining operational efficiency with sustainability goals.
  • You’re not just managing transport — you oversee the entire lifecycle of materials including handling, storage, packaging, disposal, recycling, and stock accuracy at regional sites. This broad scope provides a comprehensive logistics experience in a field-based environment.

We believe every employee deserves the opportunity to enjoy a work-life balance that enhances their overall wellbeing and performance through inclusive and supportive benefits.

Ask us about:

  • Career development
  • Health & wellbeing programs
  • Leave offerings (including 14 weeks paid parental leave – at full or half pay, plus additional leave purchasing)
  • Inclusive workplace facilities
  • Free secure parking

The opportunity:

As a Senior Field Logistics Team Member, you’ll help coordinate the safe and efficient movement of materials across Powerlink’s network. You’ll make sure logistics projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget, keeping field operations safe and effective.

You’ll work closely with teams like the Logistics Control Tower, Materials Procurement, and Technical Solutions to ensure materials are moved, stored, and disposed of safely and correctly. You’ll check that only good inventory is returned to stores and help keep stock levels balanced.

You’ll manage logistics for important and large equipment—planning transport, overseeing contractors, and making sure all paperwork meets safety and environmental rules. You’ll also handle packaging and moving critical spares, surplus items, and retired gear, focusing on safety and efficiency.

Your role includes deciding on recycling and disposal, supporting environmental rules, and finding ways to save money and improve logistics. You’ll help keep inventory accurate by doing regular stock counts at regional sites.

Building good relationships with teams in design, construction, maintenance, and operations is important. Safety is a big focus, including promoting proper use of PPE, vehicle safety, and health and safety compliance. You’ll also support a 24-hour emergency response team to help deliver materials quickly when needed.

The people you'll join:

Located in Narangba, this role reports to the Team Leader Operational Performance and Systems as part of the Warehousing and Logistics Group.

What you'll bring:

You’ll bring a strong understanding of logistics operations, including material handling, transport, storage, and reverse logistics, with solid experience in waste management. You’re well-versed in safety regulations and compliance, including HVNL, Chain of Responsibility, and relevant environmental and WHS legislation—especially within high-voltage infrastructure projects.

You’re confident working independently in remote environments, you’re also great at balancing multiple priorities, managing time effectively, and staying organised even under pressure.

You’re always looking for ways to improve operations, cut costs, and boost performance—without compromising safety or quality.

Your toolkit includes strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, plus experience using systems like SAP and other Warehouse or Transport Management Systems.
