The opportunity:
As an Inventory Control Planner, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management across all logistics facilities and storage locations. This role focuses on optimising stock levels, managing replenishment and reslotting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute inventory strategies to support operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage replenishment cycles and reslotting processes.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to obsolete or excess inventory.
- Deliver actionable insights through detailed inventory reporting.

The people you'll join:
You will be part of the Finance and Governance division, working within the Supply Chain Services group, and report directly to the Team Leader, Logistics Control Tower. This team plays a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end flow of inventory and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with financial governance standards and strategic supply chain objectives. The Logistics Control Tower acts as a central hub for visibility, coordination, and performance monitoring across all logistics activities, providing a collaborative environment where data-driven decisions and continuous improvement are at the forefront.
What you'll bring:
The ideal candidate for the Inventory Control Planner role will bring a strong foundation in inventory management, with demonstrated expertise in stock control, data analysis, and logistics systems. They will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex inventory processes and collaborate effectively across teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Logistics or a lesser qualification coupled with extensive experience in inventory control or warehouse management within a large-scale or complex operation.
