  • Available to you will be working a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week.

The Technical Training Coordinator is integral to ensuring the smooth and optimised delivery of our Technical Competency and Training function. By offering comprehensive coordination support, they ensure that all technical training activities for Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) employees, Maintenance Service Providers (MSPs), and contractors are seamlessly executed from start to finish. This involves overseeing the planning, scheduling, and implementation of training programs, as well as managing logistical arrangements and tracking progress. Through their dedicated efforts, they play a key role in enhancing the skills and knowledge base of our workforce, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our service delivery operations.


The key responsibilities include:

 

  • Co-designing OSD Technical Competency and Training Strategy, Programs of Work, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to gather technical workplace task requirements.
  • Validating and review existing technical business documents for accuracy and relevance.
  • Assisting in identifying and filling gaps in technical document content.
  • Developing and curating training resources, including manuals, presentations, and supplementary materials.
  • Contributing to job-task analysis workshops, Technical Competency Matrix development, and technical training strategy design.

The community you will join

Located in Brisbane and reporting to the Lead Technical Training Coordinator, this role involves active participation within a motivated team dedicated to service excellence. It requires close collaboration with subject-matter experts, instructional designers, and the organisational training team.
 

Your expertise

  • You’ll hold a certificate IV+ in Training and Assessment (TAE 2022) coupled with experience in a similar position/doing similar work. 
     

We’d also love you to have:

 

  • Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent, or the willingness to obtain.
  • Change management qualifications (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) or a willingness to obtain.
