- Competitive Salary starting from $185,000 plus 14.75% Super

The opportunity:
In this important Team Leader Construction role with an electrical focus, you will quickly have to establish yourself as the leader of a team of construction specialists providing electrical construction advice to support successful planning, execution and commissioning of Powerlink Infrastructure projects.
You will lead the team in providing technical guidance for electrical construction activities and the inspection of electrical infrastructure works.
You will confirm quality assurance and ensure compliance with Powerlink’s construction- and project delivery standards.
The people you'll join:
Based in our Virginia corporate office you will be leading a team of Electrical Construction Advisors as part of our Construction Delivery teams. Your role will be supporting our overall safe and efficient delivery of electrical construction works for our high voltage transmission projects.
What you'll bring:
Ideally you are highly experienced in managing and leading technical teams involved in the delivery of power, energy or renewable infrastructure projects.
You have a proven track record in successfully overseeing the performance of contractors and related service providers to ensure they deliver according to their contractual obligations.
Safety is a critical value for you, you insist on the effective application of safe systems of work, resulting in safe outcomes and/or performance improvement ideally related to high voltage power systems.
You have a relevant degree level qualification in Engineering or Business, or other relevant trade qualifications supported by significant construction or heavy industry experience.
