As our new Property Governance and Strategy Team Leader you will lead a team in the collaboration and development of property management and acquisition Frameworks, systems, processes and standards.
You will lead the development and management of strategies to optimise the property portfolio, rights in land aligned to the projects pipeline.

As a Property Governance and Strategy Team Leader you will lead the collaboration with Property Team staff to develop frameworks and implement systems, processes, and standards for property asset administration, ensuring the protection and efficient management of land interests.
Here’s how:
- Oversee the creation and implementation of policies and procedures for property acquisition to ensure compliance and deliver commercially sound outcomes.
- Develop and manage strategies to optimize the property portfolio and rights in land, ensuring effective management of Powerlink property assets.
- Building and maintaining networks to stay informed on property industry trends, legislation, and authority requirements is crucial for providing relevant property-related advice.
- Coordinate strategic advice and land requirements for key projects, supporting the transition of the transmission network to facilitate renewable energy connections.

Your expertise
- Degree qualifications in Property, Law, Business or related field or a lessor qualification with extensive property and land acquisition experience
- Demonstrated experience to develop team objectives and project delivery plans based on network infrastructure requirements and business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse team to develop and deliver strategic property objectives and project plans based on relevant inputs including external scans and vision/strategy material resulting in influencing change
- Demonstrated high level written, interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise negotiate and consult with a range of diverse stakeholders, customers and regulators on strategic and operational issues
- The ability to summarise complex property issues to produce reports and recommendations
