The community you will join
Based in Brisbane, and traveling Queensland, you will be a key member of our Field Delivery team, directly reporting to the Section leaders and Manager Lines Transmission, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high voltage transmission network
Your expertise
- Qld Transmission linesperson electrical licence (or the ability to obtain one)
- Current LVR & CPR Certification
- High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
- A current ‘HR’ Class drivers licence
- Dogging and advanced Rigging certificates are desirable.
Noting that Powerlink will support you in acquiring some of these on the job.
Desirable, not essential:
- Demonstrated ability to maintain, construct and operate transmission line equipment rated up to 330 kV using live and de-energised techniques.
- Experience in safely maintaining, constructing and operation of High Voltage equipment with a Transmission, Distribution or large-scale Contractor organisation.
- The ability to travel to remote locations and work closely with team members, you also will enjoy variety in your work, complex problem solving, plus have a passion for providing high quality outcomes.
- Distribution qualified linespersons can apply as we can assist in obtaining your Transmission licence
