As a Fleet Operations Coordinator, you’ll help us connect a more sustainable energy future for more than five million Queenslanders and 253,000 businesses. Your work with us is about every light turned on, every community connected, and every future made possible. 

 

  • Onsite parking, cafeteria & gym
  • Available to you will be working a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week

As our Fleet Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the core of our operations, ensuring our diverse fleet of light and heavy commercial vehicles and equipment run smoothly and efficiently. You'll collaborate with our Fleet Services team, internal stakeholders, and external partners to implement initiatives that enhance the safety, sustainability, and performance of our fleet.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Collaborate with the Fleet Services team to deliver excellent fleet services, providing technical expertise and managing complex fleet issues.
  • Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve fleet operations, including alternative fuels, electrification, and automation
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure our fleet meets quality standards and complies with regulations
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation, supporting the Fleet Services team with administrative tasks
  • Drive continuous improvement in fleet processes, ensuring safety, risk management, and operational excellence

Your expertise

 

  • Diploma in fleet, automotive management, or technology is highly advantageous
  • Strong background of working within the automotive or fleet industries
  • Ability to perform complex design analysis and ensure regulatory compliance for heavy commercial vehicles
  • Fleet or automative technical expertise in researching and implementing processes, practises & systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities
