The opportunity:
In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of Powerlink’s corporate reporting, corporate events, and lead the overarching sponsorship strategy in a manner that enhances Powerlink’s reputation and social licence to operate.
Specifically, you will:
⦁ Lead Powerlink’s flagship annual engagement forum, the Transmission Network Forum, and other key stakeholder engagement forums to enhance Powerlink’s reputation and build social licence to operate across key stakeholder groups.
⦁ Lead the planning and implementation of events and corporate-level communication activities that enhance Powerlink’s external profile and brand awareness, including ensuring external-facing teams are equipped to deliver best-practice stakeholder engagement, as needed, to enhance Powerlink’s reputation.
⦁ Project management of Powerlink’s corporate reporting including flagship publications such as the Annual Report and Energy Charter Disclosure Statement, including management of an external copywriter as part of report delivery to meet State Government deadlines.
⦁ Manage the delivery of stakeholder insights work, including annual stakeholder perception and community sentiment research, to deliver on corporate KPIs in relation to reputation, trust and social licence to operate.
⦁ Strategic management and implementation of Powerlink’s sponsorship framework and processes, including leveraging of corporate sponsorships to enhance Powerlink’s reputation, brand awareness and social licence to operate.

The people you'll join:
Reporting to the Manager of External Communications, you will become part of the broader Communications Customer & Engagement Team dedicated to delivering impactful communications strategies, enhancing brand integrity, and contributing to the organisation's overall success in serving its customers and the broader community.
What you'll bring:
⦁ Degree level qualification in Communications or a related discipline combined with significant experience in a communications role.
You will bring extensive experience in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement within complex technical organizations. With a proven track record in managing and implementing sponsorship programs and events, you deliver strategic reputational benefits. Your skills encompass all forms of writing and editing, effectively communicating messages to support business objectives.
You are adept at driving the implementation of contemporary stakeholder engagement and corporate citizenship principles, such as IAP2, to tangibly enhance corporate reputation across mid-to-large-sized organizations.
Naturally, you possess exceptional time management and organizational capabilities, ensuring the effective delivery of corporate events, initiatives and reporting.
