  • Competitive Salary starting from $246,693 plus 14.75% Super for a 10-day working fortnight

The opportunity:

 

As the Senior Project Management Lead, you will lead a team in the development and approvals of major projects to prepare for handover to the delivery team. You will ensure that the requirements for each stage gate approval are met.

 

This role also acts as the primary interface between the internal and external stakeholders supporting the project development, requiring you to integrate heavily across different functional groups and divisions.

 

You will develop a top-tier project team, fostering a robust team culture that upholds an exemplary level of performance across the group.

 

At the helm of pioneering projects, you will oversee and orchestrate the project execution for the development of our major energy infrastructure projects in the pipeline, effectively setting the projects up for success as they enter the construction phase.

 

In addition, you will form part of the team solving complex technical delivery challenges with safety, quality, and productivity at the forefront, managing and ensuring the execution of assigned projects within sanctioned budgets, timelines, and infrastructure parameters.

Based in our Bowen Hills offices and reporting to the Delivery Launch Director, you will lead a dynamic project team united by a passion for developing and delivering cutting-edge infrastructure projects that will transform the future of Queensland’s energy network in developing Queensland's energy grid for the future, providing clean, reliable and affordable energy for Queenslanders.

What you'll bring:

  • Significant relevant program and/or project management experience in the development of major, high voltage transmission or similar linear infrastructure projects.
  • Proven people leadership and relationship building skills developing and leading a dedicated project team and delivery partners to optimise delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of multiple complex projects through application of project management techniques.
  • A high-performance delivery focus, managing risks and adapting to ensure certainty in delivery.

 

Qualifications:

 

Degree level qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management and or significant demonstrated experience in a similar field.
