  • Competitive Salary starting from $122,016 plus 14.75% Super for a 9-day working fortnight

The opportunity:

 

As our Information Management Support Officer you will be supporting our Major Project Delivery group in the effective management of documents, records, project- and engineering information, records and drawings.

 

  • Provide administrator and archivist functions within the relevant document management system. 
  • Support record and document management in terms of ongoing analysis, governance and reporting.
  • Provide training, education and awareness in relation to records and document management, archives and library management.
  • Perform a project document control function, in accordance with the Document Management Framework.
  • Identify and support business process improvements aimed at enhancing recordkeeping practices, document management and archives.
  • Support effective information classification and handling, and privacy management practices.

 

You will work with our internal and external stakeholders to ensure our major project’s information, records, and controlled documents are accurate, secure, properly classified, and well-managed. 

 

The people you'll join:

 

Based in our Bowen Hills Major Projects office and reporting to the Optimisation Lead, you will join a profesional Major Project Services and Project Controls team to ensure that our major projects information and documentation is managed and recorded securely and accurately in accordance with relevant document management practices and controls.  


What you'll bring:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in records/information management ideally in InEight or similar eDRMS.
  • Proven relevant information management experience in a large engineering or project delivery organisation, with significant statutory and regulatory obligations in information management, records management, or document management. 
  • Substantial experience in identifying, facilitating and managing business and process improvements including process automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver initiatives, manage outputs, mitigate risks, monitor progress, and effectively engage resources to achieve required outcomes within timeframes. 
  • Strong analytical, consultation, collaboration and communication skills in information management, records management, document management, quality or compliance management. 

 

 

Qualifications:
 

  • Diploma level qualification in records and/or information management, or a lesser qualification, coupled with significant related experience ideally in a similar major projects delivery environment.
